People come talk to me for a variety of reasons. Some are experiencing a crisis, a transition, or are generally feeling stuck in their lives and are in search of a new, more emotionally-fulfilling way forward. In either case, I work to create a safe, non-judgmental environment so that whatever parts of your story that need attention can be explored most effectively.
My style is active and engaged with the goal of helping you find more effective ways of interacting with yourself and with others. My approach combines psychodynamic theory with spirituality. I often make use of the therapist-client relationship to understand more deeply what gets in your way interpersonally.
In addition to working with individuals and couples, I have run psychotherapy groups for 29 years. I find group therapy to be another powerful treatment tool to spur your growth.
Feel free to contact me to set up a time to talk briefly. We can decide together whether it makes sense for us to meet in person.
Two therapy groups to choose from.
